runyoufleet CEO elected Vice-President of Solihull Chamber
Steve Whitmarsh, chief executive of Multifleet Vehicle Management which trades as runyourfleet, has been elected Vice-President of Solihull Chamber of Commerce.
His appointment was announced at the annual general meeting (AGM) of the chamber at Cranmore Park, Solihull, on Thursday 26 March. Mr Whitmarsh has served on the executive committee since 2023.
He said: “It is a great privilege to be invited to serve as Vice-President and my election for two years is a reflection of runyourfleet’s commitment to working with and serving the local business community.
“When we all prosper, we all gain, and we are very keen to support Solihull Chambers’ drive to encourage networking and collaboration among businesses locally.”
The AGM was timed to coincide with Solihull Expo 2026, the annual showcase of local businesses and services which is also taking placed at Cranmore Park. The event kicked off with “A year in focus: Tracking Solihull’s economic progress” chaired by Emma-Louise Hewitt, President of Solihull Chamber and Head of Employment at law firm Sydney Mitchell. Speakers included Paige Bowyer, policy and research analyst at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, Tony Elvin, general manager of Touchwood Solihull. Cllr Karen Grinsell, leader of Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council and Kevin Johns, director of Prime Accountants Group.
runyourfleet is a fleet management and vehicle leasing company with a customer base of more than 1,200 businesses across the UK, providing fleet management services for 32,000-plus vehicles. Customers range from accountancy firms to NHS ambulance services, using a wide range of services including fleet management, leasing, rental and salary sacrifice schemes.
