Multifleet Vehicle Management has funded and fitted emergency lifesaving equipment at its Solihull headquarters as part of its work with Arrive Alive, the Birmingham-based first responder charity.

The leasing company, which trades as runyourfleet, is a longstanding supporter of Arrive Alive, and has already fully funded one of their responder vehicles, as well as subsidising others it has supplied.

A new defibrillator was bought by runyourfleet when it attended Arrive Alive’s fundraiser ball last year. This is now located in a cabinet at runyourfleet’s offices on Solihull Business Park, along with a bleed kit funded by Arrive Alive, who will also fund any replacement pads and batteries.

Steve Whitmarsh, chief executive of runyourfleet, said: “We’re pleased to be hosting this new and vital emergency equipment, which is all part of our ongoing relationship with Arrive Alive.
“As well as the business aspects, which sees us supply vital vehicle management services and fleet support to Arrive Alive, we also became patrons of the charity last year.
“We are determined to help champion the charity’s cause through raising awareness across our business and local community networks.
“Arrive Alive does such a great job by providing that first responder service to critical incidents in communities across the Midlands, and we’re proud to support their endeavours.”

The Birmingham-based Arrive Alive charity, founded by Debbie Roscoe following her youngest daughter Ellie’s life-threatening case of measles in 2017, provides life-saving vehicles for community first responder teams to attend 999 calls.

Ms Roscoe said: “It’s great news that runyourfleet is now hosting this emergency equipment.
“There are not many publicly accessible defibrillators or bleed kits in Solihull Business Park, and so we are sure this will make a positive impact on the local community and businesses.
“runyourfleet is a longstanding supporter of Arrive Alive and has consistently demonstrated its commitment to helping us save lives through community-based emergency response.”
