Multifleet boss presents at Kings Award masterclass
Steve Whitmarsh, the chief executive of Multifleet Vehicle Management, has delivered a presentation on how the company achieved its King’s Award for Enterprise.
The Henley in Arden based company, which trades as runyourfleet, serves more than 1,200 businesses across the UK, managing over 32,000 vehicles.
These impressive figures have been accomplished with the help of a fleet management platform developed by runyourfleet’s own IT team, which earned the company its King’s Award for Enterprise for innovation.
Mr Whitmarsh presented at the Kings Awards for Enterprise Masterclass held by Barclays Bank at Market Cross in Stratford upon Avon on Friday 15 November.
The event was attended by various other business leaders who found out more about the King’s Award and learnt from past winners about how the nomination process works.
Mr Whitmarsh said: “I was delighted to present at this masterclass and to share some of the details behind our success in winning the King’s Award for Enterprise for innovation.
“Everyone at runyourfleet has thoroughly enjoyed receiving the award, and we are keen to contribute the knowledge we have picked up with other businesses across the region.”
Mr Whitmarsh was joined at the event by Joanna Lees, marketing manager at runyourfleet, and also in attendance was Tim Cox, the Lord Lieutenant of Warwickshire.
Carl Beardon, business bank relationship leader for Barclays West Midlands, said: “This was an excellent opportunity for the business community of Coventry and Warwickshire to learn about the prestigious King’s Award for Enterprise.”
Also at the event was Narinder Dhandwar MBE, business relationship manager for Warwickshire, who got involved with King’s Award For Enterprise after he was awarded an MBE For services to the business and financial sectors in the West Midlands in the Queen’s New Year Honours list in 2022.
