Hard work from runyoufleet wins Solihull’s Community Builder 2025 award
Multifleet Vehicle Management, which trades as runyourfleet, has won the Community Builder 2025 category in the Solihull Awards.
runyourfleet won the award for its commitment to support a wide range of local initiatives, including Arrive Alive, Solihull Moors FC and Birmingham Dogs Home at a gala awards night at the National Conference Centre Birmingham.
The business, based in Solihull Business Park, is a fleet management and vehicle leasing company with a customer base of more than 1,200 businesses across the UK, providing fleet management and leasing services for 32,000-plus vehicles.
Customers range from SMEs to large multinationals, using a wide range of services including fleet management, leasing, rental and salary sacrifice schemes.
Joanna Lees, PR and marketing manager at runyourfleet, said: “We are very proud of our role in the community and will always seek to help where we can.
“The Community Builder 2025 award is excellent recognition of a lot of hard work and commitment by the team here.”
runyourfleet’s support for West Midlands community initiatives includes supplying vehicles to first responder charity Arrive Alive, including its 14th life saving vehicle supplied this year funded by donations by supporters.
The Birmingham-based charity, founded by Debbie Roscoe following her youngest daughter Ellie’s life-threatening case of measles in 2017, provides life-saving vehicles for community first responder teams to attend 999 calls.
Volunteers from runyourfleet have also helped a children’s club run by the Solihull Moors Foundation, working with organisers and the children across a half term holiday.
The company is now also an official supporter of Birmingham Dogs Home, having been named as a Silver Patron. runyourfleet has been looking after vehicles for Birmingham Dogs Home since March 2024. As well as providing services, runyourfleet has regularly contributed to the charity, one example being collecting a festive package of dog toys, food, blankets and treats at Christmas.
Jo Lees added: “If you live and work in your community, we feel that we should help out where we can, and we would encourage other Solihull and West Midlands businesses to get involved in local initiatives that can benefit from their support.
“The benefits come not only from the contribution you make to a local charity or organisation but also in the enjoyment, commitment and positive morale that results for your own staff members.”
