A Warwickshire-based vehicle management company has received a prestigious award for entrepreneurial excellence in the recent Solihull Chamber awards.

Steve Whitmarsh, CEO of Multifleet Vehicle Management, which trades as runyourfleet, and the team, stepped up to receive the President’s Award on behalf of the Henley-in-Arden based company.

The further acclaim follows runyourfleet receiving the King’s Award for Enterprise this year for its excellence in innovation.

Solihull Chamber president Eileen Schofield said: “I have met many businesses which excel in their field of work, and I have spoken about how entrepreneurial the businesses in the Solihull area are, and none more so than the business  I have selected as the recipient of my President’s award for 2024.

“This business has been a Solihull chamber member for some years and has significantly contributed to the success of the chamber both in terms of support at events and sponsorship, but that’s not the only reason why I have selected this business to receive the accolade of the presidents awards this year.

“This business has elevated the region in a way which only very few manage to achieve. The winning business has been recognised for its excellence in innovation by the highest echelons of the country and this year on its first application was awarded the Kings Award for Enterprise.

“I have selected the Multifleet Vehicle Management business ‘runyourfleet’  as the recipient of this award.

“runyourfleet now has a customer base of over 1,200 businesses across the UK, providing fleet management services for more than 32,000 vehicles and the success in being recognised for this award after the launch of runyourfleet’s online platform in 2021, which has resulted in company profits growing by more than 100% in each of the last three years.

“Its customers range from accountancy firms to NHS ambulance services, and it provides everything from vans, company cars and rental services to salary sacrifice schemes which has supported the growth in company revenues to £19 million in its last financial year, with staff numbers rising by 30% to 37 since 2022.”

Steve Whitmarsh said: “We are very proud members of Solihull Chamber, and I am absolutely delighted that the President has seen fit to recognise the outstanding work and contribution made by every single member of the runyourfleet team.

“We look forward to continuing to work with the chamber to encourage and support local business to enjoy the kind of success we have achieved at runyourfleet through hard work and determination.”
